Fully Ripe Bananas Produce TNF

The fully ripe banana produces a substance called TNF which has the ability to combat abnormal cells.
So don't be surprised very soon the shop will go out of stock for bananas.

As the banana ripens, it develops dark spots or patches on the skin. The more dark patches it has, the higher will be its' immunity enhancement quality. Hence the Japanese love bananas for a good reason.

According to a Japanese scientific research, banana contains TNF which has anti-cancer properties.
The degree of anti-cancer effect corresponds to the degree of ripeness of the fruit,  ie the riper the banana, the better the anti-cancer quality.

In an animal experiment carried out by a professor in Tokyo U comparing the various health benefits of different fruits, using banana, grape, apple, water melon, pineapple, pear and persimmon, it was found that banana gave the best results. It increased the number of white blood cells, enhanced the immunity of the body and produced anti-cancer substance TNF.

The recommendation is to eat 1 to 2 banana a day to increase your body immunity to diseases like cold, flu and others.  According to the Japanese professor, yellow skin bananas with dark spots on it are 8 times more effective in enhancing the property of white blood cells than the green skin version.

Good Health Is No Accident

Good health is no accident

(NaturalNews) Those who seek answers for their health outside the realm of their own decisions are looking in the wrong place. Health is no accident. Lasting health can only appear as the result of a lifetime of informed, deliberate decisions aligned with nature's principles of health, not the distorted version of health promoted by our backward system of mainstream medicine.

And yet many people still believe that health is something that is bestowed upon them by some mysterious exterior force. The whole effort to raise money to find "the cure" for cancer, for example, is a powerful demonstration of misplaced faith in external healing. This idea that a cure for cancer must come from outside one's self rather than from within is perhaps the greatest conceptual sleight of hand that has yet been pulled off by the sick-care industry.

The cure for cancer is already programmed within. Each person is born with a highly-advanced cellular nanotechnology that already knows how to cure cancer. Activating this inner healing potential is all that's necessary to prevent and cure cancer everywhere around the world, starting right now.

Health happens through you, not to you
And yet the masses continue to eat cancer-causing foods and pursue cancer-causing lifestyles even while blindly handing over their money in the form of donations to organizations that they naively hope will come along and "save them" someday.

Think carefully about this dynamic: The person believes health is something that happens TO them rather than something that happens THROUGH them. And so they remain stuck, floundering in a pattern of self-inflicted sickness and disease while hoping that some other organization, government or health care plan will somehow save them.

While they wait for that external solution, disease and sickness creeps up on them.

Obesity is what happens when a person spends each day imagining how much they're going to start exercising tomorrow.

Cancer is what happens when a person spends each day eating cancer-causing foods and donating money to Komen for the Cure rather than just getting some sunshine to boost their own vitamin D.

Disease is what happens when people believe they have no role in their own health outcome. So they eat for entertainment rather than for nourishment, and they live for product-induced external stimulation rather than internal fulfillment.

Woosh -- right over their heads!
At this point in this article, by the way, we've already lost 99 out of 100 mainstream people. These concepts -- that health is no accident -- are so foreign to the average pre-programmed consumer that they are incapable of recognizing them, much less embracing them. They've been told so many times that health comes through intervention (vaccines, pharmaceuticals, chemotherapy, etc.) that the idea of health being created from within just doesn't compute for them.

And that's the way mainstream medicine likes it. A population that believes it has no control over its own health is ripe for exploitation by a highly interventionist medical industry. Those who have lost hope in their own inner health potential tend to place their hope in things like silly pink-ribbon fundraisers that promise to "end breast cancer forever" -- a wishy-washy idea that lies somewhere between poetic fiction and outright marketing fraud.

Cancer can never be "cured" through any external, artificial means, regardless of how many billions of dollars are thrown at it. Trying to cure cancer with synthetic medications makes about as much sense as trying to cure illiteracy by feeding children "reading pills."

Health is a determined path, not an accidental occurrence
Health, like learning to read, is something that must be pursued through dedicated self-advancement. Neither literacy nor health can be endowed upon you with the flick of a magic (medication) wand. They cannot be injected into you through a needle. They can only be achieved by teaching each person how to own their results.

If you wish to learn how to read, for example, you must first accept responsibility that no one else can read for you. YOU must go through the learning and advancement curve if you wish to experience the positive results of being literate.

It's the same with health: If you wish to express health literacy, no one else can do it for you -- no doctor, no vaccine, no cancer non-profit group and certainly not pink buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken. You must grasp the controls over your own health destination. Take responsibility for the results you are creating with each and every decision you make: Decisions about food, stress, sleep, the use of your mind, the use of your free time, the personal care products you use, etc.

Be an adult
If you accept responsibility for your own health, then you are an adult. Children, on the other hand, take no responsibility for themselves and instead rely on outside factors to determine their experience. A child's happiness, sadness and other circumstances depend almost entirely on what's happening externally at that moment.

Adulthood is only achieved when a person grasps the level of maturity necessary to allow their inner expressions to override external influences. An adult is someone who can achieve their own health, learning, happiness or bliss without needing to turn to external (artificial) stimulations to mimic such conditions.

A child mind, for example, uses food as entertainment, television as distraction and condescension as an affirmation of self importance. This is the role of much of reality television, for example: To allow the viewing audience to feel important by offering them a visual forum through which they can express judgmental views at the inadequate people being paraded in front of them through artificial constructs of staged emotional drama.

In other words, you get to judge people and hurl verbal insults at them. "She's got fake boobs! My gosh!"

Consumption is a one-way street

As you've probably already noticed, most of the mainstream population operates from the child mindset. They are consumers, begging to be distracted, injected, entertained, medicated and told how to live, think and feel (and vote). The idea of stepping outside this preprogrammed existence and exploring the world from an adult mindset is downright frightening to these people.

Approaching the world from a point of view that acknowledges self-responsibility means casting aside all the convenient comforts of living life as a child and instead bracing yourself for the harsh reality of taking responsibility for your own decisions. Being a child is so much easier, isn't it? If you're just a child, you can't be blamed for bad results. It's always someone else's fault. (How long do I have to wait for Komen to actually FIND the cure, anyway? Can I keep eating bacon in the mean time?)

Most people, no matter what their age, have still not achieved self-responsibility. Most people are engorged in their television, gossip, fast food, chemical addictions and illusions of health that they've acquired by purchasing "trans fat free" processed foods or "high fiber" breakfast cereal laced with sugar. They are the minds of children living in deteriorating adult bodies while begging for magical medical interventions that will never exist.

My greatest wish is that our population of humans on our planet will grow up and embrace adulthood. Only through educated, responsible decisions that consider the long-term consequences of our immediate actions can individuals -- or humanity -- hope to evolve into a sustainable species. The failure of mainstream humans to understand simple concepts like "health is no accident" are merely a reflection of the far wider and more dangerous failures to understand the dynamics of sustainable life on a self-contained planet in a vast and formidable universe.

If we cannot attain the level of adulthood to take care of our own bodies, how on earth can we expect to achieve the level of consciousness necessary to function as stewards for the only habitable planet we know of in our entire universe?

Humanity remains in its infancy. Those of us who accept responsibility for our own actions are living as rare observers in a world run by children, populated by children and now being destroyed by children -- all in adult bodies, of course. The childish concepts of selfish thinking and "that's MINE!" are the lifeblood of our world's largest corporations which seek to own everything they touch, much like little children licking all the cookies to claim them as personal property.

Corporations, for the most part, are immature expressions of economic selfishness that cater to immature consumers who have not yet decided to embrace adult-class self responsibility. The entire free market, in fact, is driven primarily by childish selfish greed rather than ideas of compassion for fellow human beings or business models based on determined sustainability rather than consumption gullibility.

Even most of the non-profits, which are supposed to be based on compassion, have turned into childish, greed-driven money expansion machines that only seek to rake in more profits at any cost to society. Nowhere is this more evident than in the cancer industry, where both the American Cancer Society and Komen for the Cure have become financial juggernauts by promising cures for cancer but delivering nothing but more disease to the people. (Mammograms cause cancer, for example.)

It is no accident, either, that in our time of the greatest disease ever witnessed on planet earth, we also live among the most powerful and exploitative "disease non-profits" that promise health salvation if we would only give them another few billion dollars.

As long as childish thinking dominates modern society, such fraudulent non-profits will continue to prey upon the externalization of health tendencies of the population. The greatest fear of every disease non-profit front group is that mainstream consumers might wake up, take charge of their own health, begin to make informed decisions about preventing disease and thereby make the disease non-profits largely irrelevant.

How convenient it is, then, that the very products now used to raise money for the cancer industry non-profits are the same ones that promote cancer, heart disease, obesity and dull minds.

It's actually based on an ingrained system of medical mythology that's practiced -- and defended -- by those who profit from the continuation of sickness and disease. This system of medical mythology might also simply be called "lies", and today I'm sharing with NaturalNews readers the top ten lies that are still followed and promoted under mainstream health care in America today.

Lie #1) Vaccines make you healthy
Vaccines have emerged as the greatest and most insidious mythology yet fabricated by western medicine. The idea that vaccines protect you from infectious disease is blatantly false in the long term because this year's flu shot actually makes you more susceptible to next year's influenza (http://www.naturalnews.com/028538_seasonal_flu_shot_vaccines.html).

Lie #2) Pharmaceuticals prevent disease
The big push by Big Pharma is now focused on treating healthy people with drugs as if pharmaceuticals were nutrients that could somehow prevent disease. This is the new push with cholesterol drugs: Give 'em to everyone, whether they have high cholesterol or not!

But pharmaceuticals don't prevent disease, and medications are not vitamins. Your body has no biological need for any pharmaceuticals at all. People who believe they need pharmaceuticals have simply been the victims of "fabricated consent" engineered by Big Pharma's clever advertising and P.R. spin.

Lie #3) Doctors are experts in health
Doctors don't even study health; they study disease. Modern doctors are taught virtually nothing about nutrition, wellness or disease prevention. Expecting a doctor to guide you on health issues is sort of like expecting your accountant to pilot a jet airliner -- it's simply not something he or she has ever been trained in.

That's not to say doctors aren't intelligent people. Most of them have high Iqs. But even a genius can't teach you something they know nothing about.

Lie #4) You have no role in your own healing
Doctors, drug companies and health authorities all want you to believe that your health is determined by their interventions. If you believe them, you have virtually no role in your own health or healing -- it's all managed by their drugs, their screening, their surgeries and their interventions.

Lie #5) Disease is a matter of bad luck or bad genes
Western medicine wants you to believe in the mythology of spontaneous disease -- disease that strikes without cause. This is equivalent to saying that disease is some sort of voodoo black magic and that patients have no way to prevent disease through their own diets or lifestyle choices.

It's funny, actually: Western medicine claims to be driven by scientific, rational thinking, and yet the entire industry still fails to acknowledge that chronic disease always has a cause and that most of the time, that cause has everything to do with nutritional deficiencies, exposure to toxic chemicals and a lack of exercise.

Disease is almost never a matter of bad luck or bad genes.

Lie #6) Screening equals prevention
Western medicine doesn't believe in disease prevention. Rather, the industry believes in screening while calling it prevention. But screening isn't prevention by even the wildest stretch of the imagination. In fact, virtually all the popular screening methodologies actually promote diseases.

Imaging dyes used in radiological scans can cause horrific side effects, and psychiatric "disorder" screening is little more than a thinly-disguised patient recruitment scheme disguised as medicine.

Real prevention of disease must involve disease prevention through nutrition, patient education about the causes of disease and lifelong changes in eating habits. Yet western medicine teaches absolutely none of these things. Heck, it doesn't even believe in such ideas.

Lie #7) Health insurance will keep you healthy
This is a favorite lie of those who recently pushed for the Big Pharma-sponsored health care reform that has swept across America. The lie supposes that merely having health insurance will provide some sort of magical protection against disease. But in reality, health insurance doesn't make you healthy! It is only YOU and your choices about foods, exposures to toxic chemicals, pursuit of exercise and time in nature that can make you healthy.

Health insurance is, in effect, a wager that you will get sick. How does gambling on your sickness provide any protection whatsoever for your health? It doesn't. Personally, I'd rather bet on health than sickness, and the way to do that is to invest in nutritional supplements, organic produce, superfoods, physical fitness and non-toxic personal care products.

Lie #8) Hospitals are places of health and healing
If you want to stay healthy or get healthy, a hospital is the very last place you want to find yourself: They are unhappy, unhealthy places that are infested with antibiotic-resistant superbugs. Hospitals usually serve disease-promoting foods and lack health-enhancing sunlight, and potentially deadly mistakes with pharmaceuticals or surgical procedures now appear to be frighteningly common in U.S. hospitals.

Certainly, emergency rooms in hospitals play an important role in urgent care for injuries and accidents -- and emergency room physicians do an amazing job saving lives -- but for people with chronic, degenerative disease, a hospital is a very dangerous place to be. Unless you really need immediate critical care, try to avoid hospitals.

Lie #9) Conventional medicine is "advanced" state-of-the-art medicine
Even though doctors and health authorities try to pass off western medicine as being "advanced" or "modern," the whole system is actually pathetically outdated and stuck in the germ theory of disease. Western medicine has yet to even acknowledge the role of nutrition in preventing disease -- something that has been scientifically documented for at least the last several decades. Western medicine fails to acknowledge mind-body medicine and hilariously believes the mind plays virtually no role in healing.

Neither does western medicine acknowledge the bio energy field of living systems, nor that organ transplants carry memories, nor that living food is qualitatively different from dead food. Seriously: Conventional doctors still believe that dead food is exactly the same as living food! (And the USDA food pyramid still makes no distinction between the two...)

"Modern" medicine isn't so modern, it turns out. It is, in fact, hopelessly outdated and desperately needs to upgrade its approach to health and wellness if it hopes to survive the next hundred years.

Lie #10) More research is needed to find "cures"
This lie is especially hilarious because western medicine does not believe in any "cure" for any disease. They aren't even looking for cures! This lie has been repeated since the 1960's, when cancer scientists claimed they were only a few years away from curing cancer. Today, four decades later, can you think of a single major disease that western medicine has cured? There aren't any.

That's because drug companies make money from sick people, not cured people. A patient cured is a patient lost. It is far more profitable to keep patients sick and pretend to "manage" their disease through a lifetime of pharmaceuticals. So when drug companies and disease non-profits claim to be searching for a "cure," what they're really doing is taking your money to fund more drug research to patent more medications that don't actually cure anything.

Remember this the next time you're asked to donate to some search for "the cure." The cures already exist in nutrition, herbal remedies and naturopathic medicine, but Big Pharma and the conventional medicine cartel isn't interested in real cures -- they only want to promote the idea of a cure while pumping patients full of drugs that don't cure anything.

Beyond the ten lies
When it comes to western health care, there are more than 10 lies, of course, but these big 10 lies are perhaps the most relevant to your own health decisions. By avoiding being suckered in by these lies, you can take charge of your own health and avoid the health care scam by staying healthy!

Staying healthy isn't as difficult as you think, and it doesn't require health insurance or disease screening. It only requires making informed, intelligent decisions about what to eat, what to put on your skin and how to get more sunshine and physical exercise. Once you do these basic things, you'll find that you are no longer held victim by a western medicine health care system based on lies and outdated medical mythology.

It's time for a revolution in medicine... A revolution that finally advances past the mental roadblock of a system of medical mythology stuck in the 1940's. Don't get me wrong, 1940's medicine was great in the 1940's. But this is no longer the 1940's, and the germ theory of disease is hopelessly outdated when it comes to the primary diseases that are striking the population today. Yet the profiteers of our dishonest, outmoded health care system are doing everything in their power to keep us all stranded in the past, a past based on treating the body like a chemical battleground and attacking every disease with a patented pharmaceutical.

That whole approach to health care is so far outdated that it's hilarious it can still be pushed with a straight face. No wonder doctors only spend an average of two minutes with patients these days. That's the limit of how long they can hold their faces without breaking out in laughter at how stupid this whole "treat the symptoms and forget the causes" approach to health care really is. Even they know it! That's why most doctors actually eat superfoods and take vitamins themselves, even if they never dare suggest it to patients.

True fact: It is illegal in every U.S. state for a doctor to recommend any vitamin, nutrient or food for the prevention or treatment of any disease. Doing so can cause a doctor to have his medical license permanently revoked. How crazy and outdated is that?

(NaturalNews) It also seems too simple: In order to achieve lasting health, simply stop making disease. But the concept is foreign to most people: Making disease? Why would I be making disease?

Mainstream consumers, you see, have been trained by the medical industry to believe that disease strikes spontaneously, without any real cause. One day you have nothing wrong with you, and then suddenly the next day you're diagnosed with a breast cancer tumor. Shazam! It happens just like being struck by lightning... (and it's not your fault, you're told -- there's nothing you could have done about it...)

That's what they want you to believe, anyway. But the truth is very different: All the most common degenerative diseases -- cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer's, etc. -- take many years to grow and expand. A cancer tumor can take 10 years (or even more) before it grows to the size that will show up on a mammogram. That means the tumor has been "under construction" for a decade!

During that time, the patient has been "making cancer" on a daily basis.

Dr. Lodi's concept of "stop making cancer" is so powerful and simple that I borrowed it for this article (with credit, of course) and expanded it to all degenerative diseases. If you want to be healthy, stop making disease!


How disease is manufactured
In reading this, the first question you might ask is, "How do I stop making disease?"

To answer that question, though, you need to understand how disease is created in the first place. All disease begins with an imbalance in the mind or the body (it can originate in either place and then spread to the other).

Disease can be set off by a nutritional deficiency (not enough vitamin D, for example), or a dietary excess (too much homogenized milk). It can be caused by an emotional state such as anger or stress that then spreads to the tissues and begins to create dis-ease in the physical body.

Most disease that's being "manufactured" in the bodies of people today is created through controllable factors: What people eat, what chemicals they expose themselves too, how much exercise they get (or not), their state of mind, what supplements they take (or don't) and so on.

There's a recipe for creating each disease. If you want to manufacture type-2 diabetes, for example, the recipe is very simple:

How to manufacture diabetes:

• Drink lots of liquid sugars and high-fructose corn syrup.
• Consume a huge number of empty calories (junk food).
• Avoid all exercise. Live a sedentary lifestyle.
• Live indoors. Avoid sunshine and the natural world.
• Maintain nutritional deficiencies in vitamin D, selenium, zinc and plant-based nutrients.

If you do this for long enough, you will begin manufacturing diabetes. And before long, you'll be officially diagnosed with it by a doctor who will say something like, "You're diabetic." (Which isn't really true. You are not defined by a disease. You're just expressing a certain physiology that's been named a disease.)

If you want to make cancer, there's a different recipe:

How to make cancer:

• Expose yourself to radiation (mammograms, CT scans, X-rays, etc.).
• Eat cancer-causing foods like bacon, processed meats and foods with chemical preservatives.
• Avoid all anti-cancer nutrients like superfoods, medicinal mushrooms, spirulina, etc.
• Avoid sunlight. Remains deficient in vitamin D.
• Use lots of toxic personal care products made with cancer-causing chemicals.
• Live a high-stress lifestyle.

Do these things for long enough and you'll get cancer.

Similarly, there's a recipe for every major degenerative disease, including kidney stones (drink lots of soda), brain cancer (drink diet soda), obesity (eat more MSG), liver disease (take more pharmaceuticals) and so on.

So if you want to make disease, it's a very simple matter to do so. Shockingly, most people are following these disease-making recipes right now!

They're living the "Make More Disease" lifestyle! Every time they wolf down some bacon, or eat processed junk foods, or use conventional personal care products, they are creating disease in their bodies!

Disease doesn't appear immediately, of course. It takes many years for the daily poisoning of the body to be diagnosed as disease. But make no mistake about the origins of that disease: The body manufactured the disease over many years!

So when doctors tell patients "There's nothing you could have done to prevent this" they are actually lying to their patients. Of course there's something you can do! You can stop making disease before it gets out of control.

Conventional doctors usually don't like to acknowledge this because it would give patients the idea that they have control over their own health. Most conventional doctors would rather believe the Big Lie that says doctors control your health, or that disease strikes randomly, without cause. And therefore you have no control over your own health and are dependent on western medicine to take responsibility for your health.

It's a belief system specifically designed to entrap you in a system of medical dependency (enslavement). Fortunately, you can free yourself from medical enslavement...


How to stop making disease
Each day, depending on what you eat, drink, do or put on your body, you are either moving towards disease or away from disease. The way to stop making disease, then, is to halt any actions that move you toward disease and, instead, pursue actions they move you away from disease (and toward improved health).

Once you fill your body with living, healing juices, sunlight and regular exercise, you will shut off all kinds of chemical "disease-making" processes in your physiology. And you'll activate healing processes that move you towards lifelong health. This is how you start making health instead of disease.

The longer you pursue a healthful lifestyle based on superfoods, nutritional supplements, healthy eating and the avoidance of pharmaceuticals, vaccines, mainstream personal care products and other poisons, the faster your healing will accelerate! Beyond the mere halting of manufacturing disease, once your body achieves a certain level of vitality, it will begin to automatically reverse disease. Cancer tumors in your body, in other words, will literally vanish over time. Heart disease can be cured. Diabetes may disappear. Cognitive function will be restored. These are just a few of the many benefits you may experience when self-healing is in full swing.


Which recipe will you choose?
You see, there is a recipe for disease, but there's also a recipe for outstanding health. Which recipe will you choose?

Most people inadvertently choose a recipe for disease (it's the recipe everyone else is pursuing, so it's easy to go along with). And because they follow that recipe, they get the results of that recipe. That's why disease should not be surprising to anyone who knows these recipes. If you follow the recipe, you will get the results (good or bad).

So it's up to you to decide which recipe you wish to follow. You can choose from all the various recipes for disease -- which include enormous quantities of junk foods, pharmaceuticals, personal care products and a barrage of vaccines -- or you can choose to pursue the recipe for good health. That recipe is based on sound nutrition, fresh fruits and vegetables, time spent outdoors in nature, real sunlight on your skin, targeted nutritional supplements, regular exercise and the elimination of synthetic chemicals from your body. It's a simple, commonsense recipe that anyone can choose to follow at any time.

The minute you start pursuing the recipe for health, you will begin to see results. And the longer you pursue this recipe, the more your positive results will accelerate.


Ask your doctor
Remember this the next time your doctor or some other health professional gives you advice. After receiving their advice, ask yourself, "Is this a recipe for HEALTH, or for DISEASE?"

If the advice includes a lot of radiation, chemotherapy, pharmaceuticals, surgery or injections of some kind, it's probably not describing a recipe for health. Be wary of any advice that does not resonate with the simple principles of commonsense health... as in, don't irradiate yourself. Don't poison yourself (chemo). Don't cut your body (surgery). Don't use chemicals to control your physiology (pharmaceuticals). Use these only as a last resort when all other options have been exhausted.

Certainly, if you suffer some sort of accident like a broken leg, then it's perfectly okay to submit to the necessary surgery, anesthesia or other elements of acute medical care. I'm not against western medicine's usefulness in emergency care situations. But when it comes to long term habits of health, be aware that pharmaceuticals, mammograms, chemotherapy, vaccines and most surgeries are really just components of the recipe for disease. So if you choose to follow that route, don't be surprised at the outcome.

By the way, following the recipe for health may take more self discipline and maturity than following the recipe for disease, but it's far more rewarding. For one thing, you get to live longer. Better yet, you get to live happier and healthier during all those years. And isn't that essentially why we're all interested in the health in the first place?

There is a recipe for perfect health. It's a recipe that's available to you right now, and it's the same recipe that will stop your body from manufacturing disease. Follow that recipe for good health and you will experience far more enjoyment in your life, no matter how long you live.

Indigestion - Major Cause of Diseases

There are many causes of indigestion which resulted in abdominal indigestion, acid reflux, gas, bloating, constipation and toxins.

Causes of Indigestion
a) Improperly cooked food - not broken down small enough for absorption.
b) Food not colourful or appealing to stimulate secretion of saliva.
c) Not enough masticulation and chewing to make food small for absorption.
d) Not focus on eating e.g. watching TV, working on computer or reading.
e) Eating while emotionally upset or stressful.
f) Drinking too much fluid while or immediately after eating.
g) Drinking cold drink which solidify the food.
h) Eating nuts too hard for digestion (advisable to soak them overnight or grind them).
i) Eating too much food (not enough enzymes and hydrochloric acid for
digestion.)

Your stomach has only 2 hours to break down the food. If the food is too big, only the outer layer is broken down. So you need to make sure it's small enough when it arrives at the stomach so that all the food can get digested. Only then can more nutrients be absorbed in the small intestine. This will also help prevent the formation of mucus plague and promote unhealthy colon which I had explained in my previous postings.
Unhealthy colon causes 90% of our health problems.
Therefore regular colon cleansing is a must for everyone due to our modern diet, ways of eating and lifestyle.

What's wrong with eating too full?

Don't overeat and don't encourage your family members and friends to overeat -

unless you wish to shorten their healthy living and perhaps die younger!

Why eating too full is so harmful to your health? What can you do about it?

Mice experiment

To see how eating habit affects life span, a professor from University of Texas did an experiment on mice.

For the first group of 100 mice, he let them eat without any restriction, just like a buffet meal. The second group was fed only 60% full. And the third group was given food without restriction too. But this time, he reduced protein content to half. After 2.5 years, guess how many mice were still alive out of 100?

* First group (eat without restriction) - only 13 mice was alive. Opsss...
* Second group (eat 60% full) - 97 mice was still alive. Only 3 mice died.
* Third group (eat without restriction with protein cut half) - 50 mice still alive.

What can we learn from these results?

Firstly, eating too full is really harmful to your body. Secondly, eat 60% full if you want to live longer and healthier. Thirdly, taking too much protein is harmful to your body too. We don't need so much protein after all.

Imagine having a small family car. Instead of using it for short travel between home and office, you use it for long distance travel between
different cities every day. Instead of using it 1 hour a day, you use it for 10 hours a day. Instead of driving at 70 km/h, you always speed up to 170 km/h, hitting engine's red line.

Can you estimate your car life span? Do you expect having various problems with your car after a short time?

Driving your car at high speed for a long time is like always eating too full. You force your body to always work at its red line.

Do you know digestion is the most demanding work for your body? Think about the organs involved such as your mouth, stomach, liver, pancreas, duodenum and intestine. Think about the length of digestive tract from your mouth to intestine.

Eating too full zaps up much of your body energy for digestion. Otherwise, this energy may be used for other purpose such as enhancing your immune system.

Do you realize you become very tired easily after a big meal? That is the sign of your body working hard to digest all the food you take in.

If you eat an extra bowl of noodle, your pancreas has to produce extra insulin hormone to process the extra carbohydrates you take.

Your liver, stomach and intestine also have to produce extra enzymes to digest and process specific nutrients from that bowl of noodle.

Therefore the more you eat, the harder your body has to work to process it. Of course, we must eat to survive. But we don't have to eat that much!

If you drive your car slowly and handle it gently, you can use it for a long time. But if you always floor the accelerator and drive like a rally driver, you know the consequence on your car life span.

Your car engine burns fuel to move your car and bring you to anywhere you like to go. As a result, the engine produces exhaust smoke which is toxic. It must be dispersed out from your car. Similarly, your body cell burns nutrient for energy to survive. In the process, it produces free radicals. Since free radical is toxic to your body, it has to be neutralized and expelled. "Just metabolizing food especially fatty and carbohydrate-rich fare causes the body to produce free radicals, which attack cells and can promote the development of chronic conditions including heart disease, diabetes and cancer," says Ronald L. Prior, Ph.D.

Of course, your body can control free radicals in small quantity. But the more you eat, the more free radicals your body produces. Without adequate control, these free radicals easily attack your body cells and eventually cause all sort of diseases.

After knowing the harmful effect of eating too full, what's your choice? Do you want to live longer, just like the second group mice in the
experiment? Or do you want to risk ending your life earlier, just like the first group mice? If you wish to live longer, here are some tips you
can follow:

1.. Always eat until 70% full. Do not exceed 80% full. You may want to stop eating when you feel slightly full.

2. Avoid having buffet style meal which makes it harder to control how much you eat. Instead, prepare the food you want to eat in a plate. After finishing it, don't add anymore food.

3. Leaving the dining table earlier may prevent you from picking some extra food to eat.

4. It is always a good idea to prepare lesser food in the first place. Some people are afraid of having not enough food for everyone. Actually, lesser food is beneficial for everyone..In a restaurant, order in small amount first. You can always add in some extra order if necessary. But if you can get by with the original smaller order, that's great.

Remember this: You have higher chance of overeating if you serve more food on the table. You have better chance of not overeating if you serve less food

5. Avoid stuffing your fridge with ice cream, chocolate or other dessert. You cannot eat what you do not have.

6. When someone prepares a big plate of food for you, look at it first. Ask yourself, "Do I want to stuff it all into my stomach?"

If your answer is no, just put aside some food to another empty plate first. After finishing your food, look back at the extra food on that new
plate. Say to yourself, "Phew! Luckily I didn't stuff that portion into my stomach."

7. When you get too hungry before your meal time, just take some fruit instead of heavy meal. The tendency to overeat is very high for modern people. Do you know most monks only eat twice a day?

They wake up at 4am, meditate and say their prayer. Later they have their simple breakfast at 7am. Before 12pm, they have their lunch. That's all for them. They eat no more after that. No tea break. No dinner. No supper. They still look strong and energetic.

Of course, we don't have to eat like them. But it reminds us we can eat less and stay healthy. So remember to eat only 70% full if you want to stay healthy.

Prevent and "Cure" Cancer

Everyone has cancer tumours more than 6 times in their life time. Most of the time our self-healing mechanism helps the body to destroy the tumours. Our body can do this when our immunity is strong. But when our immunity is weak and the toxins are too much for the body to eliminate, the toxins will damage and kill the body cells. The body will react by wrapping up the dead cells, resulting in the formation of tumours.

Some of the causes of cancer
1. High level of toxins which our body is unable to eliminate.
2. High lever of acidity, caused by e.g. food, beverages, pollutants,
3. Lack of nutrients due to unhealthy food
4. Lack of oxygen in cells

Why you should never take an aspirin in the morning

For decades, doctors have recommended that we take an aspirin first thing in the morning to thin our blood. This, they've told us, will prevent heart attacks and stroke. But a group of Chinese researchers found that the time of day you take that aspirin could actually put you at risk for stroke. And early in the morning may be the worst time to take it.

Here's why:

A stroke can happen at any time. But it occurs more frequently or unexpectedly in the morning. That's when platelets clump together more than at any other time of the day or night. When you take an aspirin early in the morning, its protective blood-thinning effect occurs during the day. Not early in the morning when your blood needs thinning.

Aspirin is least protective during the night and early morning when you're not physically active. This lack of activity contributes to platelet aggregation — the clumping of platelets that causes heart attacks and stroke. If you feel you have to take an aspirin a day, at least take it before bed. That's when its ability to thin your blood is at its peak.

The real question is, do you need aspirin at all? Just about everyone knows that it has side effects, including ulcers, heartburn, and nausea. And there are some great alternatives.

Start with warming spices, such as curry, cayenne, ginger, and oregano. These tasty spices warm you because they increase blood circulation. They're nature's natural blood thinners.

Fish, flax, and berries all thin your blood as well. So do a number of supplements, including omega-3 fats and vitamin E.

Before you take another aspirin, ask yourself whether or not you really need it. You don't have an aspirin deficiency. Stick with these alternatives. Most are very safe to take with other drugs. But if you're concerned, ask an integrative physician to evaluate all the supplements and drugs you're taking for interactions. Fat - It's More Serious Than a Vanity Issue!

Did you know that the vast majority of people
in this day and age have excess abdominal fat?
The first thing that most people think of is
that their extra abdominal fat is simply ugly,
is covering up their abs from being visible,
and makes them self conscious about showing
off their body.

However, what most people don't realize is
that excess abdominal fat in particular, is
not only ugly, but is also a dangerous risk
factor to your health. Scientific research has
clearly demonstrated that although it is
unhealthy in general to have excess body fat
throughout your body, it is also particularly
dangerous to have excess abdominal fat.

There are two types of fat that you have in
your abdominal area. The first type that
covers up your abs from being visible is
called subcutaneous fat and lies directly
beneath the skin and on top of the abdominal
muscles.

The second type of fat that you have in your
abdominal area is called visceral fat, and
that lies deeper in the abdomen beneath your
muscle and surrounding your organs. Visceral
fat also plays a role in giving certain men
that "beer belly" appearance where their
abdomen protrudes excessively but at the same
time, also feels sort of hard if you push on
it.

Both subcutaneous fat and visceral fat in the
abdominal area are serious health risk
factors, but science has shown that having
excessive visceral fat is even more dangerous
than subcutaneous fat. Both of them greatly
increase the risk your risk of developing
heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure,
stroke, sleep apnea, various forms of cancer,
and other degenerative diseases.

Part of the reason visceral fat is
particularly dangerous is that it apparently
releases more inflammatory molecules into your
body on a consistent basis.

If you care about the quality of your life and
your loved ones, reducing your abdominal fat
should be one of your TOP priorities! There's
just no way around it. Besides, a side-effect
of finally getting rid of all of that
excessive ugly abdominal fat is that your
stomach will flatten out, and if you lose
enough stomach fat, you will be able to
visibly see those sexy six pack abs that
everyone wants.

So what gets rid of extra abdominal fat? Is
there actually a REAL solution beyond all of
the gimmicks and hype that you see in ads and
on commercials for "miracle" fat loss
products?

The first thing you must understand is that
there is absolutely NO quick fix solution.
There are no pills or supplements of any sort
that will help you lose your abdominal fat
faster. Also, none of the gimmicky ab rockers,
rollers, or ab belts will help get rid of
abdominal fat either. You can't spot reduce
your stomach fat by using any of these
worthless contraptions. It simply doesn't work
that way.

The ONLY solution to consistently lose your
abdominal fat and keep it off for good is to
combine a sound nutritious diet full of
unprocessed natural foods with a properly
designed strategic exercise program that
stimulates the necessary hormonal and
metabolic response within your body. Both your
food intake as well as your training program
are important if you are to get this right.

I've actually even seen a particular study
that divided thousands of participants into a
diet-only group and an exercise/diet group.
While both groups in this study made good

Bad breath is often a symptom of dry mouth -- a condition known as “xerostomia.” Other symptoms of this problem include saliva that seems thick, sores or split skin at the corners of your mouth, and difficulty speaking and swallowing,.

Most xerostomia is related to medication. More than 400 drugs can affect the salivary glands. These include drugs for urinary incontinence, allergies, high blood pressure, depression, diarrhea and Parkinson's disease. Also, some over-the-counter medications often cause dry mouth.

Tobacco, alcohol, drinks with caffeine, snoring and breathing with your mouth open can aggravate dry mouth.

There are ways to improve saliva flow. You can also sip water regularly, try over-the-counter saliva substitutes, avoid breathing through your mouth, and use a humidifier in your bedroom.

If you have dry mouth, you have to pay greater attention to your teeth. Brush your teeth with an extra-soft toothbrush after every meal and at bedtime. If brushing hurts, soften the bristles in warm water. Floss your teeth gently every day.

The bothersome combination of dry mouth and bad breath, also known as xerostomia, can be chalked up as yet another common problem caused by prescription drug use.

Although the article above states there are some 400 medicines that can affect your salivary glands, a study from 2000 found that more than 600 medications have the potential to reduce saliva production and lead to increased tooth decay. Whatever the real number is, it’s clear that there are an awful lot of them that can cause this side effect.

Xerostomia is not to be confused with halitosis, or bad breath, which is typically caused by systemic diseases, gastrointestinal and/or upper respiratory tract disorders, and microbial metabolism from your tongue, saliva or dental plaque.

Common Causes of Dry Mouth and Bad Breath (Xerostomia)

First of all, it’s important to realize that xerostomia is NOT a disease in and of itself. Rather it is a common side effect of prescription- and OTC drugs.

It can also be a symptom caused by certain physical disorders and diseases that target your salivary glands and/or tear ducts, some of which are mentioned below.

Specific types of medications that are known to affect your salivary glands include drugs for:

Urinary Incontinence Allergies High blood pressure Depression Diarrhea
Parkinson’s disease Analgesics Tranquilizers Diuretics Antihistamines

Cancer treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation also tend to cause dry mouth.

Other Non-Drug Causes

Nerve damage in your head or neck that affect your salivary glands

Sjogren’s syndrome (an autoimmune disease, causes xerostomia and dry eyes)

Endocrine disorders

Alzheimer’s disease

Stroke

Anxiety disorders and depression

Interestingly, xerostomia can also be a sign of nutritional deficiencies (some drugs are also known to cause a variety of nutritional deficiencies).

Naturally, if you already suffer with dry mouth and/or bad breath, you can certainly make it worse for yourself by smoking, drinking alcohol, using alcohol-containing mouthwashes, and drinking caffeine. All of these behaviors will exacerbate your problem, so avoid them as much as possible.

Snoring, and constantly breathing through your mouth instead of your nose can also cause your mouth to dry out further.

If you’re a “mouth-breather,” pay conscious attention to how you breathe, and train yourself to breathe through your nose.

Why You Should Be Concerned About Dry Mouth

Dry mouth may seem like a trivial concern to many, especially if you’ve never experienced it. But aside from just being bothersome, the most hazardous consequence of dry mouth is the increase of tooth decay, which can impact your overall health if it goes too far. (Naturally, it will also affect your pocketbook, as the cost of dental services keep rising.)

Saliva serves several functions, one of which is to protect and help repair your teeth from the constant assaults mounted by bacteria and your diet. Without sufficient amounts of saliva, your teeth are in large part left unprotected.

To illustrate just how hazardous some drugs can be for your dental health, a previous study, using rats, showed that clonidine (Catapres) – a high blood pressure medication that has also become popular in treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children – resulted in 84 percent more cavities.

Xerostomia can also lead to thrush (oral candidiasis), a yeast infection of the mouth or throat, and can also have a negative impact on quality of life by affecting your:

Dietary habits

Nutritional status

Speech

Taste

Tolerance to dental prostehsis

What Can You Do?

First of all, if you suspect a drug may be the main culprit, see your doctor about adjusting your medication.

You’ll also want to pay particular attention to your dental health, both at home, on a daily basis, and by seeing your dentist for regular cleanings.

I would not advise using fluoride to reduce your risk of cavities, however. Fluoride is not an effective anti-cavity strategy, and comes with a number of serious health risks.

Brushing your teeth with a 50/50 mixture of unprocessed natural salt, such as Himalayan salt and baking soda tends to have a very healing effect on gums, and makes your teeth feel wonderfully clean.

Using a waterpik device is also helpful to keep your gums healthy.

There are also palliative treatments you can use for dry mouth, but keep in mind they will not treat the underlying cause of your problem. These include:

Blending your food or preparing moist dishes that are easier to swallow

Sipping water as needed

Using a salivary substitute (typically a preparation of water and glycerin)

A Note on Proper Tooth Brushing Technique

Maintaining good oral health is very important if you suffer from dry mouth, but keep in mind that brushing your teeth too hard and for longer than is necessary may cause more harm than good, as too vigorous a cleaning can cause damage to enamel and gums.

According to previous research, the ideal brushing time is two minutes and the ideal pressure 150 grams, which is about the weight of an orange. They found that when people brushed for longer than two minutes using pressure greater than 150 grams, no additional plaque was removed, so there’s simply no need to brush longer or harder than that.

If you are uncertain about the proper way to brush your teeth, or need advice on the correct size, shape and consistency of your toothbrush, talk to your dentist or dental hygienist.

Eating for Optimal Dental Health

Lastly, don’t underestimate the power of your diet to ameliorate the symptoms of dry mouth by improving your overall nutritional status.

For optimally healthy teeth, I strongly recommend following these dietary guidelines:

Find out your nutritional type, and eat accordingly. This will tell you which foods are ideal for your unique biochemistry.

Eat at least one-third of your food raw.

Avoid processed foods, sugar, refined flour and all artificial flavorings, colorings, and artificial sweeteners. Instead, seek out locally grown foods that are in-season.

Enjoy fermented foods like natto, kefir and cultured veggies.

Make sure you eat enough healthy fats, including those from animal sources like omega-3 fat, and reduce your intake of omega-6 from vegetable oils.

All of the brushing and flossing in the world will not give you the healthy teeth that the above steps will, so to counteract the damaging effects of dry mouth on your dental health, get started eating a healthier diet today.

(NaturalNews) One of the strangest behaviors I've ever seen in the natural health crowd is something I call "Soy Rage." It's an angry reaction that wells up in some people every time they hear me recommend natural, non-GMO, home-made soy milk.

People get angry about it. Downright nasty at times. They insist all soy is bad for you and there's no such thing as "healthy soy." To that, I say stop blaming the plant.

Blame the processing. (And the slash-and-burn farming...)


Processed soy is atrociously bad for you
Based on everything I've learned over the last decades or soy, I believe that processed soy products are atrociously bad for you. I wouldn't touch a carton of Silk with a ten-foot straw. Processed tofu is a nutritious joke, and when it comes to soy protein, I've already published numerous articles exposing the toxins found in conventional processed soy protein.

Processed soy, like lots of processed things, is quite bad for your health.

But natural soy, grown organically (and locally, where possible), can actually be quite good for you. Natural soy milk, made right at home, has been part of the healthy traditional Chinese diet for thousands of years. Some of its plant-based nutrients have very powerful anti-cancer elements that can help prevent both prostate and breast cancers. Natural, non-GMO soy has some very positive properties and can play an important role in a healthy disease-preventing diet.

But the Soy Rage people don't see it that way. To them, all soy is bad for you, end of discussion.

It's an ignorant belief. It's like saying "all sugar is bad for you."

Well, not really. When I take a machete and cut some living sugar cane stalks here in Ecuador, and I take them to a sugar cane juicing machine and squeeze out all the green juice, with all its minerals and phytonutrients, and then I enjoy that amazing beverage, it's very good for me! Drinking raw sugar cane juice is a lot like drinking wheat grass juice (sugar cane is actually a grass) except it tastes way better.

Sugar is a lot like soy: When it's unprocessed and natural, it's quite good for you. When it's processed and modified, it's bad!


Lots of things are good for you BEFORE they're processed
Many people in the natural health arena need a better understanding of this: There are lots of things that are quite good for you in their unprocessed form. It's the processing that makes them bad for you.

For example:

Processed sugar cane is bad. Raw sugar cane is good.

Processed salt is bad. Unprocessed, full-spectrum sea salt is good.

Processed cow's milk is bad. Fresh, raw cow's milk is good.

Processed chocolate can be a junk food. Raw, natural cacao is a superfood!

Processed wheat is bad for you. Stone-ground whole wheat can be good for you.

Processed soy milk is bad. Natural, home-made soy milk is good.

Processed cheese is bad. Natural, home-made cheese is far less so.

Processed (canned) fruits are bad. Raw, fresh fruits are good for you.

You see, it's not the food itself that's good or bad -- it's the processing! And sadly, virtually all the foods consumed by most consumers today are highly processed.


What happens when you "process" food
So what's the problem with processing food anyway? When you process food, five very bad things happen:

#1 - Minerals are stripped out, such as 98% of the magnesium being stripped out of wheat when it's milled and bleached into white flour.

#2 - Phytonutrients are destroyed. As much as 90% of the phytonutrient content is lost during processing. (And remember, phytonutrients are the disease-fighting medicines found in foods.)

#3 - The physical properties of foods are artificially altered in a way that makes them dangerous. The homogenization of milk, for example, alters the fat molecules in milk, giving them properties that contribute to heart disease and clogged arteries. Partially-hydrogenated oils are also the result of a physical alteration that makes food dangerous for your health.

#4 - Calories are concentrated. When you process corn into High Fructose Corn Syrup, for example, you are concentrating calories in an unnatural way that then promotes diabetes and obesity.

#5 - Nutrient diversity is destroyed. In nature, every orange has a slightly different spectrum of nutrients, but by the time thousands of oranges are processed into orange juice, that natural variation has been lost. Processed food "standardization" is bad for you health because your body needs nutrient variety, not nutrient conformity.

These five alterations turn a once-healthy food into a disease-promoting food. Once again, it's not the food, it's the processing that determines its health status.


So what about soy?
Getting back to the soy question, if you drink soy milk as it has been traditionally made in Asia for thousands of years, it's good for you in moderation. If you drink processed, pasteurized, standardized garbage soy milk beverages made from pesticide-ridden soybeans (or GM soy), then you're just being duped.

Real soy milk, by the way, only lasts a couple of days in the refrigerator. It goes bad very quickly because it's real food. But processed soy milk lasts a long, long, long time without going sour. That makes me suspicious: Why won't bacteria eat this stuff?

And one of the best bits of food advice I can give you is simple this: If bacteria won't eat it, you probably shouldn't either.

Anything that has a long shelf life, in other words, is probably laced with toxic chemicals or completely devoid of nutrients. So don't eat it or drink it. That goes for margarine, processed cheese "food" (a hilarious misnomer if I've ever heard one) and processed soy milk.


The GOOD soy milk
One brand of soy milk I do trust is Eden Soy. (http://www.edenfoods.com/) Their soy products have been through all kinds of scrutiny and passed with flying colors. Notice which brands have all the crap ratings? They're the most popular brands: Gardenburger (yuck!), Silk (are you kidding me?), Westsoy (ugh), Boca Burgers (choke!), and O Organics (do they think we're stupid?).

The best brands were Eden Soy, Vermont Soy, Unisoya and many others that you can see for yourself on the scorecard.

So please help me get the word out to those who suffer from Soy Rage -- it's not the plant, it's the processing! Soy can be really good, or soy can be really bad. It all depends on how you grow it and process it.

It's really the same story with almost every food. Corn can be wholesome and healthy, or it can be made into liquid junk foods (HFCS). Same story with sugar, too. In fact, it's pretty darned ignorant to run around making blanket statements like, "All ___ is bad" (fill in the blank with whatever natural plant you wish).

I trust and believe that NaturalNews readers are the discerning type of people who recognize that the processing makes all the difference.


Don't believe food company health claims
Of course, processed food companies exploit the confusion to try to position their highly processed junk foods as healthy foods. They proclaim, "Made with soy!" Or "Made with omega-3s!" Yeah, but they're probably all oxidized and nutritionally worthless by the time you open the box that's been on the shelf for four months.

My advice? Stop believing anything the food companies say and simply think for yourself. If it's processed, packaged and made with a long list of un-pronouncable ingredients, it's almost certainly really, really bad for you. Avoid anything that's pasteurized, homogenized, hydrogenated or autolyzed and you'll live a whole lot longer.

And don't be afraid of good soy products. They can actually be quite healthy for you when consumed in moderation. I don't recommend drinking soy all day long every day, of course. There's a sensible limit on everything. But drinking some organic, trusted soy milk as part of your breakfast is perfectly healthy. In fact, it has some health benefits that are very clearly noted in the scientific literature.


Soy farming
The real downside to soy isn't the plant itself, but rather the slash-and-burn farming practices surrounding soy. In order to grow soy, farmers in Brazil and other South American countries are destroying the Amazon rainforest.

Some of this blame, of course, rests with U.S. soy product companies that have stopped buying soybeans from American farmers and resorted to cheaper, imported soybeans grown in areas that used to be pristine rainforest. That's why the Behind the Bean report mentioned above is so valuable: It helps clue us in on the origins of the soybeans used in various soy products.

The biggest consumer of soy, however, is indirectly the meat industry. That's because most of the soy grown in the world ends up used in animal feed. So the single biggest step that consumers can take right now to save the Amazon rainforest is to stop eating meat that's raised on soybeans. That alone would curb soy production and put a halt to the destruction of the Amazon.

For those who choose to eat soy, it's important to know where your soy comes from. If possible, buy soy products made from soybeans grown within your own country. The products may be more expensive than ones made from cheap slash-and-burn agricultural practices in the Amazon, but they make a lot more economic sense when you consider the bigger picture.

The Amazon rainforest, of course, offers huge economic benefits when it is left intact and living. But those economic benefits don't appear on any accounting tables or GDP figures, so they are largely ignored. But the simple truth is that we're all better off with the Amazon rainforest alive than dead.
